We specialize in catching halibut and salmon, but have been known to watch the sky for bald eagles, the water for humpback whales, and the beaches for black bear. There are many other wildlife species in the rich lands and waters near Coffman Cove, and your enjoyment of them will only add to your Alaskan experience.

To make this easier, you might want to consider bringing along a pair of binoculars or your favorite camera. Located on beautiful Prince of Wales Island in southeast Alaska, you will have the opportunity during your stay to view the Tongass National Forest while fishing in the world-famous inside passage.

Coffman Cove Charters boasts a 26’ custom built Boulton. You’ll have the ride of your life!Captain Lee Harper will be your fishing guide. Lee has been fishing for most of his life and is happy to make your time with him productive and fun. Lee Harper is a licensed fishing guide. He looks forward to sharing some great fishing with you.He will do his best to put you in touch with the catch of your life. Your fishing gear, tackle, and bait are provided, but you're welcome to bring along your "lucky" rod & reel or a favorite spinner. Because Lee is involved in the world of education, he is available for charters from mid-June through the middle of September. It's okay, though, because that is the best time to be in Alaska fishing.
Salmon abound. Kings and Coho are popular catches.

Your fresh fish will be custom filleted and vacuum sealed just the way you like it.
