Hunting & Wildlife Viewing in Coffman Cove, Alaska
For those of you who enjoy the hunt, there is a large population of Black Bear and Sitka Blacktail Deer. Several of the largest Blacktail deer ever taken were on the north end of Prince of Wales Island. Deer hunting is excellent on the island. Seeing wildlife up close is a daily event in Coffman Cove.
Along with fantastic fishing and hunting, visitors can photograph wild game in their natural habitat, observe deer, black bear, bald eagles and a wide array of sea life.
Prince of Wales Island has the largest Black Bear population in the world. Hunting or viewing the "big bear" is an adventure you will never forget!
